Philips RN582 este primul radio-casetofon auto (cu compact-cassette) din lume (primul radio-cas auto dar cu alta caseta a fost Saba TKR-15, vezi anterior); de asemenea, este primul ce se incastreaza in bordul masinii, prefigurand pt totdeauna acest design specific casetofoanelor auto; neavand claviatura, el prezinta - pentru prima data - comanda “play” prin introducerea casetei si apoi apasarea suportului acesteia pana la nivelul rolei presoare si al capului de redare; 21 tranzistoare, UM, UL, amplificator mono, alimentare 12V, iesire cca. 3W.
It is the first car radio-cassette player (with compact-cassette) in the world (the first for car but with another cassette type was Saba TKR-15, see previously); also, it is the first radio-cass which was designed to be mounted into the car' dashboard, this design becoming a permanence; not having a keyboard, it presents - for the first time - the "play" command by inserting the cassette and then pressing its support up to the level of the pinch-roll and the playback head; 21 transistors, AM, LW, mono amplifier, 12V power supply, output approx. 3W.
